Terms of Use

By accessing or using Grimoria (grimoria.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Grimoria.

Grimoria is a free web application for Magic: The Gathering players that provides:

• Card collection management and organization (binders, decks)
• Deck building and deck idea exploration
• Card scanning and identification
• Price tracking from TCGPlayer and CardMarket
• Budget-friendly card alternative suggestions
• Wishlist management with price alerts
• Financial portfolio tracking
• Card import/export functionality

To use most features of Grimoria, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be at least 16 years old (in accordance with GDPR Article 8)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Upon account deletion, your data enters a 30-day soft-delete grace period. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted.

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to scrape or access the service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or other harmful content
• Abuse, harass, or threaten other users
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Impersonate other users or entities

You also agree to comply with Wizards of the Coast's Fan Content Policy when sharing or publishing any content related to Magic: The Gathering.

• Grimoria: The Grimoria platform, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Grimoria. All rights reserved.
• Magic: The Gathering: Magic: The Gathering, including card names, artwork, and game mechanics, is the intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast (WotC). Grimoria is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WotC.
• Scryfall: Card data and images are sourced from Scryfall under their terms of use.
• Your data: You retain ownership of your personal data, collections, deck lists, and any content you create on Grimoria.

You retain ownership of all content you create on Grimoria, including deck names, collection notes, trade lists, and other user-generated content.

By submitting content to Grimoria, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or violates the rights of others. Grimoria reserves the right to moderate and remove content that violates these terms or our content guidelines.

Grimoria is not responsible for user-generated content and does not endorse any opinions expressed by users.

Grimoria integrates with the following third-party services:

• Scryfall: Card data, images, and rulings
• EDHREC: Commander deck statistics and recommendations
• TCGPlayer & CardMarket: Card price data
• Resend: Transactional email delivery
• Hetzner: Server hosting (Germany/EU)

These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. Grimoria is not responsible for the practices of these services.

Grimoria may include affiliate links to card marketplaces including TCGPlayer, CardMarket, CardTrader, and Amazon.

When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, Grimoria may earn a small commission. This does not affect the price you pay.

Affiliate relationships are disclosed here, in our Cookie Policy, and in the footer of every page. Marketing cookies for affiliate attribution are only set with your explicit consent.

• Card prices displayed on Grimoria are for informational purposes only and should not be considered investment advice. Prices are sourced from TCGPlayer and CardMarket and may not reflect real-time market values.
• The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Card data freshness is subject to our synchronization schedule with Scryfall (daily bulk sync, hourly price updates).

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Grimoria's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Grimoria (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• Grimoria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under applicable EU consumer protection laws.

These terms are governed by Italian law.

Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the use of Grimoria shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunale di Firenze (Court of Florence), Italy.

As an EU consumer, you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I Recast).

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of Grimoria after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you may delete your account.
